The Church of St. Saviour's is passionate about helping our neighbours in need.
Through a tithed amount of regular givings plus special designated fund received, the Bread of Life Grocery Card Program evolved. On the 2nd Sunday of the month, a limited number of grocery cards for our local Freshco grocery store are available for neighbours in need. Although the dollar value is small, we have been told the value is priceless. The grocery cards allow individuals to purchase fresh meats, produce and other perishable items. Items that are not available from many food banks.
We delight in welcoming individuals in fellowship through refreshments and conversation and the opportunity to worship with us if they so choose.
100% of all funds designated to the Bread of Life Grocery Card Program go directly to the purchase of grocery cards.
